Cleaning, Rejuvenation & Restoration of Senva Pond, Vrindavan
BARGAD in collaboration with Yamuna Rakshak Dal National President Sant Jaikishan Das started a drive in August 2015 to Clean, rejuvenate & restore Senva pond which is near Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, the pond was inhabited by hundreds of turtles but due to the Eichhornia plants grown over the pond the it became less inhabitable for the turtles so the two organization decided to clean the whole pond which helped the turtles as well as the villagers as they now had access to clean water Yamuna Ghat Swachhata Abhiyan- Delhi First ever Prayer offered (Yamuna Aarti) at Yamuna banks to promote tourism and restore its religious value Creation of mini portable Biogas plant and cylinder a major step towards Gram Swaraj, Recognized by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan In Bio fuel Seminar 2015.
